Bathroom Lighting

Bathroom lighting installation requires great care to ensure that it conforms to the required safety standards. You will see a bathroom zones diagram by each of the products so please take care that you are ordering one appropriate for its intended use.

In zone 3 there is no special requirement for safety in a bathroom so most other fittings can be used.

In particular take a look at our ceiling lights page as the bathroom ceiling is usually in zone 3 by default.

If in doubt either contact a qualified electrician or us. Bathroom lights are designed to minimise the reflected glare from gloss surfaced ceramic tiles.

The ‘Como Triple Round’ has three bulbs facing in opposite directions to achieve this. Bathroom wall lights can be situated either side of a mirror, in the way that the ‘Tube’ and ‘Roma’ are designed to be, or above a shower, as shown by the ‘Ice Shower Downlights’. The bathroom light area has so much choice you will definitely be able to achieve the effect that you desire.
